Well, this morning, the mailman came to the door to deliver stuff much earlier than usual. Today, however, he had something completely different to deliver, as I had to sign for a slightly bulky package. There was Japanese writing all over the box, and on the inside was a bunched up newspaper, covered in more J-text. Then, wrapped in this newspaper, in some very neatly arranged bubblewrap, was what I'd been waiting the past two weeks for...

I've now got the latest three games in the Touhou series (that would be: Mountain of Faith, Subterranean Animism, and Undefined Fantastic Object), and the place I ordered it from was kind enough to even include a postcard featuring the shrine maiden Sanae. I think I might give it to someone as a gift.

Anyway, concerning other manners, the work on "Confinement" is still underway. Currently, however, I'm under the beck and call of an overseas programmer as I await his response for help with coding. Appolgies to my fellow Po3 team members.

Well, there hasn't been a new post here for nearly six months, let's fix that shall we...

EDIT: As of Friday, May 22nd, 2009, I am an Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) in Photoshop.

EDIT 2: As of Friday, May 29th, 2009, I am a Microsoft Certified Application Specialist (MCAS) in MS Office Word and Powerpoint 2007.

EDIT 3: Holy hell! I actually got a certification in Microsoft Excel! That test was hard... (June 1st).

I said I would be putting up my other Digital Design projects, but all the ones we've had since the last one have either been really large, or looked like crap. This final one that we had, I feel confident in putting it up, because I spent a bit of time with it. It's a propaganda poster of a World War II style. I think I went a little overboard with the blur effects, trying to make it look all washed out. *Note*: This project was made in CMYK mode, and needed to be converted to RGB. There's really no visual difference, but I just wanted to say that for the designers out there who may look on this.

So what else? Oh, I'm trying to learn flash so I can eventually make something. I'm planning to enter in the Power of Three competition with a couple of friends, so I hope I can work with them well. This would be where I show an example of some of my early flash work but... trust me, you do not want to see it...

Now that I've actually found out what the hell Embodiment of Scarlet Devil is, it is literally that. Danmaku, which is translated to "bullet hell". I've been pretty much fixated on playing games of the Touhou series for about the past two months, and it's been a doozy. I doubt I'll ever get to the point of a person like this, but I'll keep playing till I can get at least somewhat good. Which is good enough to actually beat the game on Normal which, believe me, is harder than it sounds.

So yeah, that's pretty much it, refreshing this page is done. Enjoy the poster, and take a look at my new banner up there. Oh, and it won't take another five and a half months to update my page again.

Yeah, I do have other projects from my Digital Design class, and I might put them up at a later point... or maybe not. This flag I have here was just made for extra credit, and for the site. So stand up, and pledge allegiance to the flag, of the United People of Newgrounds. And to the cock jokes, for which it stands, one website, under the Fulps, very divisible, with hilarity and phallus for all.

Also, the Embodiment of the Scarlet Devil is still awsome. Including music from the other Touhou games.

And it looks pretty good if I don't say so myself. I don't know my grade on it yet so I'll have to wait while my teacher drools over the other drop shadow filled projects from my class. And yes, I know its an obvious rip off of the Metroid Prime symbol.

Right, I forgot to mention that this is for a fictional band.

Update: What the hell! I got a 95% on this thing! How is this short of being perfect?!?
